I woke up today, checked my phone, watched some television, and went to church just like a normal Sunday morning. On the way to church, my brother and I listened to the radio. You would be surprised by how many car advertisements we heard in such a short drive to church. It's actually smart for the advertisers of tires and windshield wipers etc. to play their advertisements on the radio. This being because majority of people listen to the radio when they are in their car and thinking about their automobile.
Next, we pulled into our church to make the 9:30 a.m. service. Our church has grown to be so big that lately they have two buildings and when the first building gets filled up with people, they open up the second building. The first building actually has the preacher on stage talking to us. The second building, on the other hand, has multiple projectors where people can watch the preacher who is being recorded from the first building (a simulcast). The church wants everyone to be able to listen to the same preacher and get the same message, so to make sure of that they use a different type of medium. Getting the message across via television is smart because it keeps from crowding into one building. Although, it can be super impersonal when you plan on going to church but end up getting stuck watching church on a screen.
